Wendi Campbell

With her background as a Chartered Accountant, Wendi brings a strong business focused approach to coaching. She has been coaching leaders for 10 years. Wendi is particularly interested in helping leaders to get the most out of their teams, and together delivering high value results.
Wendi has held senior leadership roles in a wide variety of human resource functions in the professional services industry. After working for a number of years as a Chartered Accountant in a client facing role she realized her passion was people, not numbers. She seized an HR leadership role and began tackling employee relations issues, developing complex staffing models, refining critical performance management systems, gaining in-depth compensation planning experience, and leading the communication of HR strategy and results.
Wendi has extensive experience on both sides of the leadership equation. She has partnered with senior leaders developing HR strategy, problem solving, and the selection and development of leadership potentials. She equally, has hands on coaching experience with individual high potential candidates honing their skills, challenging them on their development areas, and encouraging them to take their careers to the next level.
Wendi’s approach to coaching is as a problem solver; working with clients to help them solve their challenges from a shared experience perspective and adding rigor to their skill development. Her unique blend of financial and human resources consulting experience delivers practical, bottom-line oriented solutions to clients.
Wendi holds a CHRP, in addition to her Chartered Accountant designation. She obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and has certificates in Organization Development and Human Resources Management from Queens University. She has participated in several committees with both provincial and national HR associations and continues to be a valued contributor to the national CHRP examination process.
