How We Work

Every client is different.

At IMPACT we tailor our coaching assignments to fit the needs of each client. It’s one of the things that differentiates us.

Here’s how we do it:

We listen. Before designing a coaching plan, we do our best to get to know the client and their needs.

We work with the client to design a ‘best-fit’ package or plan. We never sell our clients a service they don’t need. Rather, in consultation with our clients we develop a coaching plan designed to address their desired coaching objectives and have the maximum impact on their situation. Before proceeding, we make sure the contract is clear and agreed on.

We do more than just coach. We offer a number of services designed to address the differing needs of clients. If you are a senior leader, you may need help with your team or with some of your senior leaders. Someone in your group might need a career development plan or just a very clear message on what they need to fix or work on. We think that coaching is often only part of the solution and we make sure we deal with the whole issue.

We check in along to way to make sure the client is progressing and satisfied with their coaching experience. We have conversations with our clients based on practical issues relating to their coaching objectives, and regularly, we check in with them to ensure that they are meeting coaching objectives. We are intentional about asking our clients whether they are getting what they need from us. We make ourselves open to feedback. We are always willing to make changes and adjustments to the coaching relationship to ensure our clients are getting the greatest return on their investment.

We don’t let coaching relationships drag on unnecessarily. We work with our clients to close the coaching relationship at an appropriate point.
